Your Questions, Answered

  • We specialize in reading and fluency, but may support in writing, math and coding. Our goal is to help each child flourish academically while also developing confidence and a love for learning.

  • Every student is unique! We begin by assessing your child’s current skills, learning style, and goals. From there, we create a tailored plan that combines targeted instruction, engaging activities, and encouragement, adjusting along the way to ensure steady growth.

  • We use structured, explicit, and multisensory instruction informed by the Orton-Gillingham approach. Lessons are personalized, supportive, and designed to build foundational skills at a pace that encourages confidence, growth, and success. We are also certified with the International Dyslexia Association.

  • We offer in-person sessions in your home (or agreed-upon locations), virtual sessions online, and hybrid sessions. All lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and effective, no matter the format.

  • The cities we offer in-person tutoring and services may vary for each team member. We offer tutoring and services in the South Bay area, including, but not limited to, San Jose, Campbell, Willow Glen, Milpitas, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View and Fremont.

  • Most sessions are 60 mins (50 mins of student instruction + 10 mins for a family debrief), depending on your child’s age and needs. We can adjust session length as needed to maximize focus and learning.

  • Getting started is easy! Simply reach out via our contact form or email, and we’ll schedule a free 15 min consultation to discuss your child’s goals, learning style, and schedule. After that, we’ll create a personalized plan and begin tutoring at a pace that works for your family.

  • We keep careful records of your child’s goals, skills, and growth. Progress is tracked through regular observations, assessments, and notes, which we share with parents during check-ins. This ensures your child’s learning journey is transparent and measurable.

  • We understand that schedules can change. If a session must be missed, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to reschedule or adjust to keep learning on track.

  • If our caseload is full, you may be added to the waitlist on a first come first serve basis. If there is availability, we will notify you promptly via email.
