Monique is an educator with over 12 years of experience supporting young learners as an elementary teacher and Reading Interventionist. She is passionate about helping students build a strong literacy foundation while also supporting elementary math development through structured, evidence-based instruction that fosters confidence and long-term academic success.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Santa Clara University. Monique is an IMSE-certified specialist with CERI certification and holds certification from the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). With a thoughtful, student-centered approach, she tailors instruction to meet each learner’s unique needs and strengths.
